  1. Hi Emma! Hope you don't mind me contacting you but I just wanted to let you know that your blog has been brilliant! I'm a student midwife and have heard of you through several grapevines - its been so interesting to hear about your journey from the horses mouth.

I wish you and your family all the luck in the world, thank you for sharing.

    Lots of love, Hannah xx

  2. Hi Emma, I remember meeting you through Hank and Phulani many years ago now and I just had to email you to congratulate you on the birth of your four sons. Such an exciting time for your family. My son was looked after at the same neonatal unit where you are, its hard, but the team there were brilliant. Sending prayers to the universe your boys thrive over the coming weeks. Hope to see you all at the park over the summer (I'm also local) and a speedy recovery to you too!

HI, I just wanted to say a huge congratulations to you and your family on the birth of your beautiful boys! How well you did!! The boys are really good sizes and its good to hear that you are doing well too ( i know how hard it is recovering from a c section!!) My name is Sally and I too live in Bristol, I have 4 children, a 5yr old girl and 4yr old naturally concieved identical triplet girls. I wont compare too much to you as i always find it annoying when mums of twins compare to having triplets! but in a small way I can understand some of the feelings tec that you may be feeling at the moment. My girls were good weights too and i managed to get to 36 weeks, only due to lack of NICU bed! I ended up having them in Taunton. Well im sure you to busy to listen to me drabble on so i leave you by saying well done mum, and i wish you and all you family health and happiness x

    Hi Emma

Congratulations on your gorgeous boys and glad to hear that they're all doing well.

My deepest sympathies on the loss of Rupert - heard from my niece, Philippa, whose friend knows R's wife very well. I know what its like to lose a sibling but I had mine a lot longer than you. So awful for you that you also couldnt be here.

Richard also sent congratulations and sympathies.

    With love
    Sue (ex Mudd)

  12. Hi Emma,

Firstly, congratulations on the birth of your four beautiful boys! I just wanted to get in touch to offer some help. I'm a mother of three small children living in Bristol. I'm South African too and my family are all still there. My husband and I find it very difficult juggling family life without the support of our parents, siblings and friends. I cannot begin to imagine the difficulties that you are facing at this crazy (and exciting) time in your life.

As I'm running around after three kids myself, I can't volunteer my time to help you with yours. But, perhaps I could make you dinner and drop it off at you every so often or do your shopping for you, or you could keep my number on hand when you need something? Or all of the above.

Please contact me and let me know if you'd like to take me up on this. It would feel amazing to help you guys out a little.

    Much love,
    Lorynne
